VIS-G26

A microprocessor control for the regulation of the viscosity of the ink solvent that happens thanks to a vibration sensor.

OVERVIEW

The VIS-G26 is a system for the regulation of the viscosity of the solvent-based inks. The measurement of the viscosity takes place thanks to a vibration sensor immersed in the liquid to be analyzed, without moving parts.
It, in series with the flow, emits a frequency that in contact with the liquid is changed, may alternatively also be installed in derivation to the ink flow.
From the analysis extrapolates the viscosity in seconds (cup ZAHN, FORD, …) and by the correction valve maintains the management based on the reference set. The cleaning of the viscometer performed at the end of work, at the same time washing the inking circuit.

TECHNICAL DETAILS

DISPLAY PANEL AND MANAGEMENT

  • Visualization of all colors monitored on a single screen;
  • Display of viscosity via bar graphs;
  • Choosing the type of reference cup, setting the reference viscosity;
  • Saving up to 5000 different jobs;
  • Compensation of ink temperature;
  • Error Reporting by using graphical indicators (no ink or solvent or viscosity out of tolerance).

  • The electronic component is marked II (1) G [Ex ia] IIB to be installed in the safe area;

DETECTOR RIV-VIR-G26

  • The G26 can be positioned in hazardous area in series with the ink flow or shunt;
  • The G26 marking II 2G Ex ib IIB T5 Gb;
  • Solvent correction via pneumatic valve, the solenoid valve can be marked II 2G Ex ia IIB T6;
  • Ink supply with electric or pneumatic pump;
  • Viscosity measurement with a resolution of 1%.

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS

  • System for control the ink temperature, via a heat exchanger with high efficiency.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

  • No maintenance required;
  • After work by cleaning inking system also cleans the viscometer;
  • No mechanical element subject to usury.
